Summer Home Park was established in 1908 as a recreational resort community located on a bend of the lovely Russian River. Today it consists of about 125 summer homes, a beautiful beach, and a "Center" area which includes the Lodge, an outdoor amphitheatre and clubhouse. Summer activities are run by the volunteer board of the Summer Home Park Improvement Club and many of it's members. Activities include outdoor movies, arts and crafts for the children, and many social events: the Memorial Day Chicken BBQ, July 4th Races and Beach Party, Theme Night, and golf tournament to name a few. Summer life along the river at Summer Home Park is like a step back in time; we love our traditions and we have families that have summered there for five generations!
